Nara, the 8th century capital of Japan, and Kyoto, which was the capital for over 1000 years, are known as the cultural "heart" of Japan. In Kyoto, we'll explore the Sagano Bamboo Forest and the picturesque gardens of Kinkaku-ji before heading to Nara Park, home to the "bowing deer," Todaiji Temple, and the Great Buddha Statue.

The highlight of this tour is the scenic Sagano Romantic Train ride, which runs through the beautiful Hozugawa River Valley. During cherry blossom season, the valley blooms in vibrant pink. 

We will also explore the Sagano Bamboo Grove and make visits to Fushimi Inari Taisha and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kiyomizudera.

Enjoy the fresh air at Mt. Fuji's 5th Station and Kawaguchiko!

Leave the hustle and bustle of Tokyo behind you as we head to the picturesque Fuji/Kawaguchiko Area. 

We will make a stop at Mt. Fuji 5th Station, which sits above the lower level of clouds halfway up Mt. Fuji. 

We will head to the Kawaguchiko Area where you will have free time to enjoy the Panoramic Cable Car and a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi.
